Help for a beginner?

Hey all I am wondering I anybody can teach me just a little how to tune my gears and suspension etc. I'm not asking to become a pro just able to do a quick fix maybe even mid lobby or a one time deal b4 a race. Thanks!

PS: may also want to reply by PM because I have a lot of threads to look at and it's hard for me to find them sometimes

I don't know much about supension BUT i know that the fully customizable transmission you can make your top speed faster

Take a look at Motor City Tunes, he has some quick set ups for different drivetrains that can be quickly applied when you first tune a car. The quick tunes improve a lot of cars (although not all) and the thread has useful explanations to help non-tuners understand the settings and apply their own tweaks.

It's a good starting point.

ALWAYS have your transmission over 200mph

To the guy who recommend me to Priano, he is one of my good friends. On my Fl and we race periodically. I am asking how to do some basic tuning guys not how to get tunes or what to buy

Run the car, and just set it up with whatever. Read the description if you don't know what something is. Figure out how the car works. It's very fun

For the gears you can use the method in my thread, it's easy, you can set the gears visually, and it work very good....
