Help, I think I broke my G29 pedals installing GTEye!

Installed the brake mod last night. Brake is working a treat but the throttle is acting up. Works ok most of the time, but sometimes the throttle is cutting out momentarily, or coming on when I'm off the pedal.

Took it apart again to check for pinched cables but looks ok. Not sure what else I can do.

Any ideas?

Same happened to me installing the NIXIM mods, & it turned out to be pinched cables (but not much sign on the cables themselves). Just be very careful when reassembling.

If you didn't take it apart this way then a pinched cable seems the most likely, and could be very hard to spot

Guess I'll have another go, but I assume there's a chance the damage has already been done. Oh, well, fingers crossed. Was thinking about getting a CSL Elite with the Load Cell anyway!

No dice so guess the damage is done. It works ok 90% of he time, but goes haywire sometimes. Might see if I can find some stop gap pedals for a while. I'm in the middle of buying a flat, so I probably shouldn't drop £700 or so on Fanatec gear!

I recommend finding someone with some electrical engineering skills in your friend circle or family?
