help last corner

Last corner of Motegi? I just did a simple out-in-out. You should brake well in time so you can release the brake when turning in, to maximize the front end grip. Go easy on the throttle around the corner and don't accelerate too soon or you'll lose front end grip again.

I'm not the fastest driver though, so maybe someone else has a better strategy.

Brake a bit before the 50m board, turn in strongly enough to get into a controlled slide to slow you down to 38mph then upshift to third on apex and throttle as much much as you can till you're stable and can click over to full throttle for maximum exit, if you can hit at least 100mph by the line it's good.

The "turn in" is pretty much the hardest part to get right, it's a slight drift to just get you to slow down a little faster and at the same time be pointed at a better angle for a better exit. It's pretty advanced so if you can't really get it down then I suggest you just work on getting good at trail braking into the corner to get down to around 38mph or 61km/h then short shifting up to third so you can put the power down more gradually and earlier. You should see an improvement.

Check my GTA Videos thread in this section to get an idea of what I mean btw

Should be theoretically possible to get a high 1:30's with it if you do everything close to perfect. samurai_405 might make it. He is already on a: 1:31.048

my problem is the braking point. I either brake too late and overshoot the apex or brake too soon and end up being too slow. My other problem is getting the right angle on my turn-in so I can induce the right slide....but it's so hard to get right! This is the only corner that i'm not confident in at all.

guys this part of the track is cracking me up i cant get it right one bit, starting to think a 1.33.5 is going to be my best :(

The entry isnt too important, you need to be near the apex and then change to 3rd with a bit of throttle, this is the best way. A bit of a slide on the way in may help as long as you control it and get it pointing in the right direction.

If you are just trying to gold the track, That part is not important. Focus on the first turn and those winding S ones.

If trying to gget in the top 32, I got nothing.:sly:
