Which LSD? Front or rear?
Here's why I set them like that.
The front is set like a 1 way LSD with not too much affect so there's looseness up there for rotation of the front tires. The initial set at 25 helped stabilized the car when on and off throttle, which helped in powering out sooner.
The rear is set like a 1.5way LSD which helps in stability in braking and powering out. Due to the VCD being set at 10% to the rear, traction is needed so a higher setting was set in the acceleration setting.
I'll experiment with lower LSD settings. The car is just not so stable because it keeps on switching from under to over which is why the LSD were set the way they are as I listed above.
My driving style may be different from yours. btw, speedy samurai, which track are you testing these on? The track that I tuned my Impreza with is Grand Valley Speedway. It makes a difference where you tune it too.
Gearing plays a role in with the suspension also when accelerating out of a corner. Not enough acceleration and you'll push. I have JDM STi gear ratios with a 3.500 final drive ratio.
