Help me with Rivals on PC PLEASE

so my girlfriend gave me this game at christmas, but i can only play with 30fps.. witch looks like slow motion lol. anyone have a fix for this ? anyone know if NFS are going to patch this ?

There is no real fix but @ProjectWHaT has a video posted somewhere on the Rivals page where you can get 60.

Note that this one does in fact work, but you need to ensure you have a system that can keep up the 60FPS or the game time will be screwed up. I got all kinds of weird controller and timing issues when trying it, so I defaulted back to 30FPS.

I run battlefield 4 on high, skyrim on high, crysis 3 on high dead space 3 and a lot more, all on high, i dont se why rivals would not work. i can run the previous NFS on high too.

Well, you should remember that it's EA we're talking about here.

To be honest, I can't see the fuss about the 60FPS debate. The game runs perfectly at 30FPS and that in no way makes the game unplayable as the OP makes out.

Let me tell you this: it's a bad PC port.

In some parts like the desert, it plays at 30 with very minor drops (2-3FPS). But when I'm in the city with many buildings, it drops to 10-20FPS.

No...

AMD X4 760K CPU and the R7 260X GPU could definitely run NFS Rivals on Ultra. I even tried it on low, same problem.

my computer is strong too. i play a lot of new games on high, even if i put rivals at the worst settings, it stays at 30fps

What? I was talking to @Ameer67 I know it stays at 30, because its locked at 30

30 FPS has been hard coded by Ghosts. 30 FPS cap might work for consoles but not on the PC. Doing the 60 FPS breaks the game and is useless.

You said it didn't work the first time, maybe it'll work this time. If the game becomes sluggish, or seems to be in slow motion, it means your computer can't produce 60 FPS.

Was that for me or @Morethanwound? If it was for me then I'll explain how it "breaks the game". The games does almost does everything 2 times faster before doing the unlock. Your car is 2 times faster, the cutscenes are 2 times faster, everything is double the speed.

I'm pretty sure the video does it a different way than the one you're talking about. The video specifically says this is a different one. It shows the 2x speed in the beginning too.

I did something similar to that. Haven't tried that one yet.

i've tried both, didnt worked, well it worked for 5mins, then turned back to 30fps. anyway, everything is in fast motion after this. like x2 instead of normal
