I bought an Intec 1x memory card(PSone),but It can't save Gt2,the Ps2's browser shows it as a corrupted file. I've even tried to remove the network adaptor and it still wont save. Can someone please help me out?

I don't know anything about your specific memory card, but my official Sony card works fnie with PS2. Sorry, can't help you. ;)

I bought a brand-new Intec 1x memory card almost a year ago. It worked for awhile but started to do the same thing as your card: you can't save anything on it. GRRR. I erased all the memory on the card and it still says Memory Card Full, Change Slot. It does this on both my PS1 and my new PS2 slim model. It pissed me off because it was new when I bought it. Now I only buy used cards.

Also, I noticed that both my Nyko memory cards will not work on PS2, but they'll still work on the old system.

When the PS2 first came out, there were rumours going around that third-party PS1 memory cards could destroy the PS2 itself (or at least the i/o devices which control the memory cards). So if official Sony PS1 memory cards still work fine on your PS2, you're luckier than if the rumours were 100% true.
