Hello GTP'ers:

I'm not very experienced with Netflix or with using my PS3 for anything besides GT and I'm having some issues with Netflix. Thing is, it shows an amazingly few amount of titles on my PS3 for me to watch. On my laptop I see everything I want, The Avengers movie, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Initial D...etc. but on my PS3 the only thing I see when I browse for those titles is "Related to: xxxxx" and not the actual titles.

It beats me, honestly. It's stupid to get all this movies if can only watch them on my laptop, what's the purpose of a PS3 app then? It annoys me so much to be paying for a bunch of crappy sitcoms and dumb rom-coms on my PS3 when Netflix actually has the stuff I want to watch...just that I have to watch it on 17" instead of 32"...

Help is very much appreciated! :gtpflag:

A little bump here. Sorry for DP but I'm seriously needing help here and google hasn't been useful for 🤬.

The Netflix app works very well for me.

Here is a guess. Try scrolling the screen down, you may find that what you're looking for is off-screen.

Also, have you set up a list of chosen movies and shows to watch? If so, this list should be able to be displayed on the main entry screen of Netflix.

Another suggestion is to take a photo of what you're seeing and post it here. I'll watch this thread.

Ever since they dumbed down the Netflix interface and got rid of of the sub-categories on the PS3 its been terrible finding movies. Now I'll just browse and add stuff to the hotlist with my computer so finding them on the PS3 is painless and quick.

My father-in-law does that as well. He uses my Wii for netflix and just searches on his computer for movies to add to instant queue (or my list whatever it'called now)

Thanks for your help! :)

Thing is, I haven't been able to set up such a list. I know there's supposed to be a "My list" option but I only see it on my PS3 for the shows and movies that appear there but not on what I'm able to find on my PC. It's weird because I find really obscure shows but not a mainstream movie like The Avengers, and not the über-awesome Initial D. When I scroll down I only see more and more suggestions but none of them are remotely close to what I want.

How do you set-up "My list" from the PC app? And, from what I found in google, apparently it may have to do with where I'm located, does that make any sense or gave any of you trouble before?

Thanks again for the replies! :)

I was having this very same issue, The Green Hornet is one of my favorite casual films to watch and it just disappeared! Booted up my Wii U netflix for the first time and BOOM there it is.

I also enjoyed watching Pretty Woman.

You set up your list via a browser on your PC. Go to netflix.com and log in. Search around, add anything you want to the list. You can add to the list from the PS3 app as well of course.

Also, make sure that if you have set up multiple family member IDs, that you "log in" under the correct name, otherwise you won't see your list.

Does this help?
