help needed with cpu specs

Need advice on a possible purchase of a laptop asus q551ln

can this run project cars, and is $700.00 us a good price

ill mostly be playing on ps4, but would also like to pass time at work lol

It might be OK on minimum settings. Main concern would be the fact that it's only a dual core CPU, but also the Video Card on this unit being a M (mobile) series, they tend to not have the grunt and horsepower of the Desktop "equivalent".

In my opinion it would be borderline. The Laptop/Netbook CPUs tend to be have the same problems as the GPUs in that they are reduced power in order to reduce battery consumption. The CPU is slightly better than the announced MINIMUM specs, and the GPU is somewhere in the mid-range (purely because it is the M version).

Again, it's only my opinion, and perhaps someone that was part of the WMD team can add their insights. Based on posted requirements and the specs I have found for that laptop, I would say it should work on low settings, but not sure how smooth it will be.
