Lowering...

-Get the polygonal lasso tool.
-Select the part(s) of the car you want to lower.
-Hit CTRL + C at the same time.
-Then hit CTRL + V at the same time.
-You know have a new layer.
-Now use the arrow tool and grab the body of the car (with the new layer still selected) and drag downward.

Those are the basics. Anything else go to http://www.photoshopjunkie.com

Nice work Bondy. Did you apply the stickers to the IS200 - oops sorry ALTEZZA?
I also prefer the non-lowered Skyline - it looks more real.

Ok, you don't want to select just the car like these guys are saying, try to find a place next to the car where if you change where it is it won't looks any different (usually areas of grass, gravel, pavement, or anything else that follows a pattern) and seletc the entire background above it (that way there's no distortion, fuzziness, or double-cars). For example: in the recent Weekly Muscle Comp 4, I lowered my car by taking the border of the pavement and the border of the gravel to the outside edges to make my car a low-rider. that's just a tip...

Oh yeah, when you lower, usually the regions of the body behind the tires looks bad (Big open space where there should be body). This problem is simple to fix: simply use the eyedropper tool to select the color of the inside of the body (don't use pitch black, sometimes it's actually a little lighter). then, use the paintbrush to fill in where the body should be. Take your Altezza for example: Behind the front wheel, you can see evidence of the original body, where there should be the dark inards of the car. simply select the color of the dark regions next to the wheels, and fill in the area between the wheel and the tire. Also, the back wheel shows similar evidence. do the process stated above and you're set. ;)
