Help Please

Hello,

So a while back I installed the driver for the XBOX 360 controller, after finding it didn't work with my XBOX 360 controller I deleted it.

Yesterday I bought a new XBOX 360 controller and downloaded the driver for it, when I tried to install it, this appeared

I've looked everywhere on my computer for it, but I couldn't find it!
Anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

I assume you already looked through Programs/Features in the control panel?

Look through the Microsoft folders under Program Files and Program Files (x86), may be hiding in there. There might be an uninstall binary that you can run.

Nope, not there.

I just installed version 1.2. The uninstall shows up in Add/Remove Programs, and it's installed in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories\"

Found it! Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program

Ah! Like was suggested in post 2!

Control Panel, Programs is EXACTLY the place to look for something you want to uninstall, for future reference.

And just finding the program files and deleting them is NOT the same thing as uninstalling....
