Help: small bug inside TV on the LCD screen

Anyone ever have this problem? WTH do I do? Hasn't moved for a couple days, so I assume it's dead. Apart from trying to take apart the TV, not sure what to do.

Does your TV have a pane of glass in-front of the LCD? It would be unlikely a bug could get in-between the plastic sheets which make up the actual LCD panel.

You could try with some help to gently rotate the TV upside down to try to shake it out.

At least make sure you don't crush it, can cause massive damage on the inside.

It's between the protective outer plastic and the face of the LCD screen.

Unfortunately your screen will probably not be putting out enough heat to eventually "dustify" the thing.

Another win to plasma I suppose.

Read about a trick using a suction cup on the outer plastic screen to pull it away just enough that the bug will drop to the bottom. Will try tonight.

Borrowed a suction cup from work and it worked like a charm. Took a few tries to get it all the way off the screen though.
