Help To Tune Up!?!?!?!??!?!

Hello Friends!,
I need some help on tuning up my cars I have a [Nissan Stagea Wagon 343] [A Mits. Lancer] [Denso Supra] [Mugen NSX] [Daisin or Dajsin Silvia] [R30 Skyline Foumola/ Formula] [Castrol Supra]
[Toyota Supra] [Mits 3000GT] [Volkswagen Beetle] [Nismo 400R]
[Skyline R-34] ([R] Honda Prelude] [Audi TT Quattro] [Honda S2000] [Toyota Celica] [Mazda-Speed RX-7] and many more that
i cant name right now becuase there are so many

I was wondering how I could tune them all up. Most if them have Stage 1/2/3/4 Turbo Kits and Racing or Semi-Racing Mufflers. But i need some more things that can make it accelerate better such as Weight Reduction, Some have been performed with it and some have not. I want to know if and how you can make your car lower to the ground and whats for professionals only?? whad up wid dat?!?!?!

Any way I just signed up yesterday at gtplanet.net i wanted to go to Gran Turismo.com but they wont let me cuz my email is at hotmail/yahoo.com. I have 7 million Credits in GT2 and i have every license including Super-Class only took me half and hour to learn that and i have been play for 2 years but i would have way more credits but my brother broke my memory card cuz we were racing in manual and hes a whiner and i was beating him and then he broke it. I am borrowing my cousins memory card and i started 2months ago and i am having a great time playing. I love cars My family has a Toyota Sienna we were hoping on getting a Honda Oddysey but we took Sienna instead.

So please reply to this :honda: :acura: :audi: :bmw: :mazda: :mitsu: :lexus: :gt: :infinity: :ruf:

First off- Welcome to GTP! :)
Second- Congrats on the soccer mom van :P
Third- "For professionals only" mods. are necessary on most vehicles, for instance...In the tranny section, if you are in a FR, MR, or RR car, buy an LSD. (I will suggest the 1.5 slip because you don't need to tune it and it works well with all cars.) :)
Always buy everything that increases horsepower, buy super soft slick tires unless you are doing endurance races, do all of the weight reduction, do the racing mod. if it looks cool  , buy the brake controller, buy the full race tranny
-And take revenge on your bro if he breaks your m-card again 😈 !

if you want your car to accelerate well....
1) triple-plate clutch
2) racing flywheel
3) carbon driveshaft (if you can)
4) transmission <--takes some getting used to, what with the constant tuning and all....

welcome to gtp, and nice avatar.

Try this for the Skyline Foumula R30

Spring Rates: 9.5/9.8
Ride Height: 66/73
Dampers 7/7 x2
Camber: 1.5/1.1
Stabilizer: 4/4
Auto Gear:14
Downforce: .78/.85
LSD: 10/36/26

i fukcing love the R30 skyline... something about it... i dunno

it was one of the first R cars i ever had, and i just love it... sure, not a hella load of speed comparo to everything else, but it prety quick off the line, and handles like a dream!

despite it's uglyness, it is the best car in my opinion for the apricot hill endurance, lapping the opponents by a minimum of 3-5 laps.

Welcome to the forum.
There is a lot of variationl in your garage.
As far as tuning, It you have 7 mill in your "wallet" you seem to be doing alright. But I can't resist the urge to throw my :2cents: in.

With most cars if you lower them to the bumpstops then come up about 5 clicks in front and 7-10 in back you will have a good bit of stability. If the rear is "squirelly" raise the front of car 2 clicks and run it again, repeat as necessary until you are happy with the car's handling. If the car won't turn well raise the rear 2 clicks then run it, repeat as above.
As for the best acceleration. Run Manual tranny. If you like the auto, set the "sport-wide" at about the middle of the range, (between 12-15). If you can reach the top of 6th gear long before the straighaway ends move 2 clicks toward "wide" and repeat as above.
Have fun, hope this helps, and again welcome to the forum.

I have trouble tuning the suspension. I don't even touch most of the parameters out of fear of screwing up the car.

I'm assuming that you'd want to tune differently for different tracks.

Can anyone suggest ideal suspension and downforce tuning for a GT1 Race Car on Laguna Seca?

Please help.
