help with caterham please!

im po'd at game big time!

i just spent over 200000 pts to buy and modify catherham to perfection for use in fr and compact races.

problem is that it is a 'special' car and is not permitted in any races. is there a way to sell it with the mods to get all my pts back then start over again?

why doesnt game explain car not able to participate in events?

Agreed. The guide explains that cars with complex body shapes or unique handling characteristics (i.e.: 1886 Daimler Motor Carriage, Auto Union V16) cannot participate in single races due to the difficulty of loading their forms as well as five others (for a race), therefore they are labelled as 'special' and set aside.

Of course, you can always start a new game...

oh well, so there's no way to sell back the car? how about mods in general? can they ever be sold?

game should have a big warning before allows it you to waste your points on one of these 'special' cars.

i do have to say that my caterham is amazing to drive though. ive used it at willow springs with no driver aids and much more fun than the audi r8 in the mission hall. if i cant sell it i will add super slicks to it and just enjoy racing it vs its ghost where ever i can

ps how do i change the transmission to manual? cant seem to remember

Options screen will get you back to manual.
As for making back the cash...
Special Events at Costa Di Amalfi.
2 races will net you 10 grand plus a car that can be sold for 243,000 cr.
And as you've found, the car is an absolute ball to drive. Keep it to mess around with.

I would like to add that you can race against opponents with the Caterham in arcade mode... no you can't use your mods, unfortunately... and I don't think it is 6 opponents, it is just one other.

But the car is worth the entry price, especially if you have a DFP wheel.
