I finally got a copy of S2U but for the life of me I cannot get a decent setting with my DFP wheel to enjoy the game.

Is anyone else running the game with the Logitech DFP wheel? If so, what settings are you using the game? any help would be appreciated.

Is there a proper "dance" to starting the PS3 with S2U and a wheel? I cannot seem to get decent FFB on the wheel through the game. The wheel works fine for PC racing sims.

thanks in advance!
:)

I also just got the game and I also have DFP. I have a problem that this game has force feed-back when I counter-steer.

There are no difference between following wheels: Drive Force Pro, Driving Force GT, G25, G27. The only difference is that later two have H-shifter.
So try settings you can see in other topics for any of these wheels.

Not true... the DFGT, G25 and G27 are very different. I don't know about the "firwmare" but as construction goes, they are VERY different.

The DFP and DFGT are pretty much the same wheel but the second one is larger, has improved design and has few more buttons.
The G25 is very similar to the G27 (G27 is basicly a G25 with a few minor improvements and more buttons and less sequencial stick shifter)
In terms of FFB the DFGT and the DFP have both one motor and the G25 and G27 have both two motors but Ive been reading that they feel very similar to the DFGT and DFP.
In terms of build the DFP and DFGT are made with cheap materials (ex: plastic and rubber) and the Gs are made with better materials (ex: leather and metal)

The G27 is build differently from g25 if I remember correctly. That's why the noise is gone also. G27 is silent due to the Helical Force Feedback Gearing and this is what's make it better and its a major difference.

Based on Chilicokes comparison they very similar... but you are right the G27 has Helical gears connected to the motor that make the wheel make more noise to one side than the other from what Ive been reading on the internet...

All these 4 steering wheels have 2 motors.
Reviews telling that particular wheel has 1 motor are correct. And reviews telling that wheel has 2 motors are also correct. :)

Actually, second motor is for insert/remove 270 (or 300 - whatever) degree limiter.

There is only one Power FFB motor in all of these wheels.
There is no any reason to put 2 FFB motors. They will just fight to each other.

Logitech has to promote their more expensive models. Not everybody need H-shifter, but if you read that "G25/G27 wheels have 2 motors" then you think "It really worth additional cost!". Logitech doesn't lie. It really has 2 motors ;) (the same as DFP and DFGT)

They are all the same in terms of principle. Differences are in used materials, buttons, outlook and H-shifter availability.
