Help with GT300 MR2 on special stage route 5

i joined a GT competition in a Chinese GT forum.
the next race is use GT300's MR2 run 29 laps. with any tire combo. the only thing i can change is the gear ratio. the Tire wear must set to heavy, and AI level is at 6. so i tired many times on Time Attack. the best i can do is with R3/R3 with 270km gear ratio. the fastest time i got so far is 1'22.2xx but as i start the real race, the lap time dropped to 1'23.xxx- 1'24.xxx with all green tires. i need some tips to cut more time.

He posted it on the thread title. I usually get better times when my tires start getting to the greenish yellow. Try finding what wears out more and stagger them with a softer compound.

Do you reach the 270 kph ?

I'd say, shorten the gear at first... Since it's a pretty twisty track with only one top speed zone, i'd say to have short gears where you might hit the cutoff before the first corner after the main str8... While driving, don't let the car hit the cutoff, hold the gas 1 Kph before it and cruise the str8, being fast on the twisty parts is the key on that track IMO.
