Hey guys, I wanted to ask for some help for some issues I've had online. I've been having trouble connecting to a club room for one of the online leagues I'm in, I couldn't get into the room at all because of an "Incompatibility with room host" error.
We tried changing the room host and I could finally get in the room but the problem then is that I could not see the original host and some other people on track. For example, we have 11 people in the lobby, I could only see 8 on track, and the three people who I can't see on track could not see me either. We all saw each other as still loading into the room.
One thing to note was that when the original host was the room host, the signal bars for the room on the club lobby screen were all greyed out, and that when we did the host change, I had at least two signal bars.
I've already tried port forwarding a few months ago after encountering some issues going online and successfully changed my NAT type from Type 3 to Type 2. I was under the impression that a NAT Type 2 would already be enough for online play, so this problem was somewhat unexpected and I couldn't really think of any remedies.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. I really want to do some online racing with people here on gtp and this kind of issue is just causing problems for me and for the people I'm in the lobby with.
