I've done it twice now and it failed both times. Has anyone done this and know how to? There are changes made to the httpd.conf file and if I'm making a mistake it's got to be there, but I can't figure out what it would be. Maybe the instructions are unclear. Anyway, please help.

You need to ive us a little more information Milefile. Exactly what is the nature of the failure?

I don't have everything in front of me now but the jist of it is... after everything is set up and you put the php IP in your browser it doesn't work. I don't get the page that tells you it was successful. And one time I got some crazy download.

I think it has to do with the modifications to the httpd.conf file. I was looking at two different sets of instructions and there were differences between them so I am going to try the other one.

It just pisses me off becaue it takes so long and I'm so careful to not foul anything up and it still doesn't work.

Did you use PHPTriad ? It should setup everything for you correctly. (PHP, apache, phpmyadmin, mysql)
Epic, I tried downloading that, even though it is old versions of everything, but the link doesn't work.

I havn't tested PHP yet, but I know that Appache can be difficult. It took me a good while to discover where the path was that it set as my root directory for my website. I wonder if PHP came installed on Appache when I installed Linux....
