ok.. so i use the Nissan Motul Pitwork Z @ 900+ HP and it has nothing on the AI in that event.. if anybody can help i'd appreciate it... thanks..

If you have any super cars like a le mans car, maybe you could use one of those? But it's been too long for me to remember what I used, maybe Smallhorses can offer up a suggestion, try pm'ing him if no one else replies or has suggestions that work for you.

There is tons of threads about the gran turismo world championship already. Look in one of them.

If you got the 900+ horse Z already, do what I did and do the El Capitan endurance race in it. I don't care whether you use A-Spec or B-Spec, but it'll boring either way. If you get that endurance done, then a Toyota Minolta is waiting. I used a Minolta for the GTWC and might get another one (sold mine so I had enough for the black 787B)

Why not have some fun doing the El Capitan race, use any one of these cars from the stock car thread. These rides found here, are all capable of netting 200 A-Spec Points as well

:)

well at the moment of this post i wasnt at 25% yet.. i did manage to achieve that.. when i did that was the first race i did and with that car i did the 24hr at Nurburgring and got the Gran Turismo F1.. i used that to win the last pro race... thanx for all the help guys i really appreciate it...

You have to have a Le Mans prototype to compete with the others. A JGTC car is useless in that race. I have the hidden black Toyota GT-ONE with the $90000 turbo kit equipped. Something like that will do. If you don't have $3500000-4500000 and the week for the hidden cars is too far away, you should just get a gillet vertigo.

Hint: It's not the car's fault! ;)
See below for proof that in the right hands, the Nissan Motul Pitwork Z is capable of winning most races in this series.

I'd be very careful with making statements like these.
For a driver of your own talents, they may be true, but that doesn't apply to everyone. ;)

Here's 3 examples by 1 driver, 2 using JGTC cars & 1 using a road car to beat GTWC.
Have a read, learn something, and then stop relying on overpowered 1000HP Stage 4 turbo'd Le Mans cars to win everything like so many folks tend to do.

JGTC @ Gran Turismo World Championship Ver. 1.0
JGTC @ Gran Turismo World Championship Ver. 1.1
"Road Car" vs Group "C" Ver. 1.0

While some suggestions in this thread are quite good, others, such as taking a 900HP Motul Z racing car to win the El Capitan 200 miles are just trash, 👎 there's no wonder iluvGT4 finds it boring, he'd be about 30 laps ahead of the rest of the road cars in that field. A moderately talented racer can take just about any stock road car with S2 tyres and ~300HP and cleanly win a fun race at El Capitan 200 miles without relying on NOS or bouncing of every wall on the track, just by driving smoothly.

This is the only way to fly in my book. Keeps you concentrating on what you need to and for a long period of time to learn good habits. Great advice Nick, however you are the 200pt. race king
