I've tried everything to get this logo right but so far I'm not doing something right. I've attached a file with the logo that I'm working on & you will be able to see that there a 3 or 4 (white) sections that show up and they should be clear. Any help would be great and if you are able to get it correct please let me know how you where able to do so. So the next time I run into the same I won't have a problem.

It is also a process that I've explained to you before @garystevens64

When you've got inkscape and the SVG open, go to file > properties and select "checkerboard background." This enables you to check that see through bits are actually see through, and will enable you to see white bits that aren't see through. So we can see the bits you need to change (the 2 Rs and the 2 As.)

I've started with the R of Racing. Select the "edit paths by nodes option.

Click on the black bit of the R. Hold down shift and click on the white bit. You will see that both are now selected.

Go to Path > Combine (No picture as it's straight forward.)

Go to Object > Fill and stroke and the select the "evenodd" option (highlighted below)

That may change the colour of your R, so just change it back to black. You can now see that the top of the R is see through.

Repeat for the other letters.
This one was exactly the same process which is why I didn't respond earlier.
