Hello everybody! Just purchased a new PS5 Pro, now pairing with LG Oled C4 77".

Playing GT7, F1 25, Asetto Corsa / ACC, etc. But specially GT7 and why not Forza Horizon 5 in the future (when released). Want to get rid of my controller and start playing for real. I plan to acquire in the near future a PSVR2 also. I am in EU for reference.

Wheel:

- G29 / G923: Good for starters but too basic

- T300RS GT ($380): I read is too hot and also technology is outdated, the price is not good neither.

- T598 ($429): I imagine is better than T300. Is DD but also is a bit cheaply made, base is huge and is not 100% supported in GT7 yet.

- Thrustmaster T GT II ($700): Old also? but really good wheel, no DD.

- Logitech G Pro ($700): I think is a no brainer at this price (have a huge discount)

- Fanatec DD Pro ($800): Another good option.

- Fanatec DD Extreme ($1200): Out of budget

Pedals:

- T300 and T598 come already with a bundle but I could upgrade to T-LCM. ($200)

- For fanatec I don't have idea

- For logitech I could get the Pro Pedals for $255

Shifter:

Do I really need one? If I go Logitech way I could get the RS Shifter & Handbrake for 119. Is worth it or needed?

Seat / Cockpit:

I will be playing with my wife (I am 180cm / 72kg) and my wife is thin and is about 156cm. We will need to change the setup every time we play so this could be a problem / issue.

I could get the Logitech Playseat Trophy that is nice looking (but not sure if satisfies my needs) about $400.

So in summary, what I have in mind is go fully Logitech Bundle and get the Playseat Trophy, Pedals and Wheel for a total of $1355 and I have money left for the shifter if it's worth it.

Do you think is a good deal or I should consider other options? Thanks all!!

It may not be the answer you are hoping for but I have the impression that already have put a lot of thought into this and probably have also read the hardware section of GTPlanet.

So, I think you already made up your mind and it seems to be a sensible combination. Go for it!

As you can see in my signature I went with fanatec all the way and I am happy with it. There is no right or wrong and may change in the future. I wish you a lot of fun with your new gear!

Personally, I would go down the Fanatec route for a PS5 Pro set-up, as it has a much more mature and well-developed ecosystem than either Thrustmaster or Logitech.

A h-pattern shifter I personally wouldn't bother with for the titles you've mentioned, as GT7 doesn't use one well, and of the others only AC would see it have a great deal of use.

Rig wise, my personal pick at that sort of price point is the GT Omega Titan, it has a seat rail to ensure people of differing heights can use it easily, it's as solid as a profile rig, and (in my opinion) much better looking.
