I bought most useful parts (lightweight level3, rollcage, refresh...) The car has 378hp. I need help on my settings because the car has a lot of understeer for Tsukuba Circuit (my best record is around 1:00:5xx) and Citta Di Aria (around 1:38:6xx) so... It's not really good setting so i need help! :ill:

Setting
- Spring Rate : 10,0 - 8,0
- Ride Height : 110 - 110
- Shock Bound : 8 - 8 (stock)
- Shock Rebound : 8 - 8 (stock)
- Camber Angle : 3.0 - 5.0
- Toe Angle : -1 - 1
- Stabilizers : 4 - 4

Brake Controller
- Brake Ballance : 7 - 20

Gear Ratio
Auto : 10
Final : 3,445 (it will choose the gear ratio)

Downforce
20 - 15

LSD
- Initial Torque : 30 - 30
- Accelerator : 30 - 30
- Decelerator : 20 - 20

VCD
Front Wheel Distribution : 50

Weight Balance
Ballast Weight : 0
Front/Rear Balance : -30

I have to say that 4WD are really hard to tune. I want to do at least 0:59:xxx in Tsukuba and 1:32:xxx in Citta Di Aria with Sports Medium Tires (Both front and rear)

Thanks.

1'37.262, Citti di Aria, first (only) lap, racing super soft. The car used was a '99 WRX Sti COUPE, not sedan, which could be much lighter (I could not find an '00 new or used). If you tell me your impression, I might be able to adjust for your preference.

Yes, they are GT3 settings, but they should work well for GT4.

If GT3 settings work for a GT4 car it is either because of luck, skill, or lack thereof. They are not the same , and since you apparently do not know better you are spreading the disinformation. Besides, this isn't the "I Have GT4 Link me to Settings for GT3 Cars" forum.

"Disinformation" huh? Hardly.

I've imported about 15 GT3 settings to GT4 so far, and the only one that hasn't worked is, of course, the poor GT40.

Everything else has worked very well indeed, this one in particular:

This is an incredibly good setup for this car in GT4 as well as GT3. I added a wing to my STi and the thing is a just a mean little bully. It handles phenomenally well. I set the rear toe at 0 on mine, and I like TCS, so mine is at 4.

Fumes doesn't like any LSD at all on 4WD cars, and its hard to argue with his results. I had already installed it on mine, so I just set it at 5 on all. Note the VCD setting of "10". The idea is to make a 4WD act as much like a RWD as possible, and oh my, does it ever work...

Lighten up, rk. Its a game, not a religion. We don't come here looking for a scolding when we respond to a request for help. We'll offer whatever help to people that we can when they ask for it, and not worry about conforming to some sort of standard that you seem to want to set for us.

Rhetoric and superlatives do not substitute for facts and reality. I stand by my posts and settings and will gladly rise to any comparative challenge. The feedback for my posted tunes speaks for my abilities and only lesser players resort to name calling and personal attacks, actually I am a little saddened because I had thought more highly of you and will have to seek more worthy opponents.

I suggest you both just go somewhere else if you're gonna argue. This d00d asked for help regardless of quality. He may or may not find said help to be of any use. Arguing isn't helping anyone, least of all yourselves.

That siad, I plan on getting an Impreza today in GT4. I'll see what settings I come up with.

Here are my STi specC setting, I think it should work for a wrx as well.

spring 8.0 14.0
rideheight 92 92
bound 10 10 (Or alternatively 8 6 for stability)
rebound 2 2
camber 2.0 0.8
toe -2 0
sway 1 7

Ballast weight 20 (The ballast is important, don't skip it)
FR Balance 30

downforce 30 30
variable center diff (vcd) 10 (very important as well)
all driving aides off

Medium race tires or super softs if tire wear isn't a problem
Stage 3 weight reduction
No differential (This is important too)
sports brakes
no brake controller
Try these settings exactly as is. Ballast, camber settings, shock settings and everything. A slight deviation seems to completely kill it. I lap Nurburing at 6:31 with 526 horsepower.
