First of all i would like to say that I am new to this site and I say a big hello to all GranTurismo players out there!
I have played GranTurismo Potable for a long time now on my PSP. I have spent considerable time on completing all challenges on gold and collecting over 600 different cars including the Pholopony F1 car. Anyway my PSP 1000 is getting old now and recently the directional buttons and the anolouge stick have gotten sticky and have come to a point that the system is unplayable.
I was thinking of purchasing a PSP Go around Christmas time when the price (hopefully :scared:) falls. I have heard that you cannot use a game save on a memory stick that has been used on another device in a new PSP. Is there any way that I could transfer my game save onto a new PSP device? I have a PS3 if that makes any difference.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance! 👍

Unfortunately, you can't transfer a GT PSP save from one PSP to another. I feel your pain as my PSP died a few days short of it's 5th birthday (and I was hoping to use my save on my son's PSP).

It theoretically possible to trick the game into accepting a save from another PSP, but I don't think any decent hacker/tinkerer has even attempted to do so (and I doubt that they would even bother).

Since you have a PS3...
You could download AdHoc Party. (if your Inet connection is'nt wireless)
Erm, AdHoc Party is a...program where you can play online PSP games that are ad-hoc only (ie GT PSP). You could ask someone here (not me, i don't own a PS3) to share their cars, and _possibly_ trade.

If you can get your psp to work, you can trade your cars from your old save to your new one... Just you have to obtain a couple tradeable cars, 323F at Mazda is cheap, and the Criterion 2CV is as well.
