I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. In one of the other threads I mentioned that I couldn't use the RA functions because they are not supported by my old MOMO wheel; some of the guys said I could set them using my DS3 and they would then work with the wheel. I tried that, but had to wait until I started the lap to set them, then if I finish the lap, or restart for DQ, or any reason, my setting do not "stick".

I guess I'm asking for a "walk through" on making the settings work for these WRS races. Some of the things I can't figure out are below.

1. When do I apply the settings? After I start a lap?
2. How do I make the settings "stick" after I finish a lap, or restart for any reason?

When I set the torque bias and brake bias, the difference is like night and day. If I'm not able to make this work, it's pointless to even try running this event. :ill:

Change the RA settings as soon as your first lap starts. If you restart right after you are finished the settings should stick. Bring up the RA menu as soon as you restart to see if they stuck. If you fail the lap before you restart they disapear, at least that is what I find.

I hope that helps.

After you start the lap (e.g. at the starting line after the countdown), press the button that you mapped to the DS3 for RA functions. When you make your changes, press the same button to close the RA menu and then pause and make sure you press restart before completing the lap (I just usually do it immediately). This should keep your changes provided you don't DQ/Finish. Also I map my DS3 to be the same controller id as the wheel (in my case usb port 1) by pressing and holding the PS button while in the game and selecting the Controller Configuration.

Thanks guys..... I got a chance to try it this morning and despite being a PITA, it does work. :sly:

I'd much rather just be able to set the car up and run it; I'm not a big fan of not being able to tune my car. :indiff:
