Help with setting up an LSD

I understand the basic concept of what a diff does and how it works but when it comes to the LSD Im clueless! If I understand correctly fitting one to a car will help wirh cornering and I could use that for a few cars that just wont steer enough without tasting grass- namely my beloved Focus ST 06 which has the grunt to win but needs help with tight corners! Is there a guide to settinv one up, and will the default settings help?

For a front wheel drive car like Focus, use lower settings than a rear wheel drive would use. Initial 5-9; Accel 10-20; Brake 5-15 ... for a starting range, dependent on course and power would be my off the cuff recommendation.

Well my focus has everything thrown at it, fully maxed out on HP, wing on the back (type A i think) and goes pretty quick with good braking, but bottoms out at 148 mph.
