I ahve tried everything from my Nismo 270 to my TVR, to my Buick Special. I even bought a damn tuning 350Z for 50 Grand and still have not won, HOW DO I WIN THIS DAMNED EVENT!

It has almost 650hp, but the cars i usually race are RUFs and that stupid S2000 and they smoke me around the corners. So... i will try an oil change.

Thanks, Duck :dopey:

Well, it had 800hp, and i won all events, but then i got to El Capitain and Tsukuba and i lost because the Buick sucks around turns. So i tried my BMW M3 GTR, and it was to slow, so i got 6th place, so now, this sucks, and i need a different car, can anyone recommend one?

It is really hard, because they put you against cars that are incredibly fast. It is insane.

I need a new car choice that can beat them around the turns..

Well, i tried the Yellowbird Ruf, but i suck at driving rear engines, thus i lost horribly, and i cant seem to find an S2000. Damn i have two races left, but i have no car to do it then, i might just buy a G35Coupe and sup it up.

Ok, overkill, but give it a shot with the Mine's Skyline (from MINE'S in Tuner Village). It'll cost you 200,000, but it's definitely worth it

edit: Just gone out in my standard Mine's Skyline and won the Tsukuba race first time by about 8 or 9 seconds. Laptimes in the range of 56-57 seconds are fairly easy with warm tyres and no traffic.

Well i bought the Skyline. I got the last two events up to silver and won the cup, but i needed gold so i used the car i won to own the competition. But now i have a another problem, it wont let me do the GT chapionship...

Check and see if you have gold in EVERY race in the Beginner and Pro Halls. Most likely there's a bronze that you mistook for a gold. This is what always happens.

Put your LSD settings low, like 20-10-5, and driving Aids (if your car is more than 450) like ASM Oversteer 4, ASM Understeer 0, TCS Control 4...It should help through corners...

Nah, i found it. in the Classic Car championship, i did not do the chapionship part.

Can you reccomend a car for the Grand Turismo World Championship? I have a budget of 450,000 credits.

Get your best road car, and race it in the El Capitan endurance. You'll win the Toyota Minolta, and with a Stage 4 turbo, you should be able to win easily.

Well, for starters, have a look at the Race Reports board. You could also look on the main GT4 board. This board is for tuning and settings questions - hence the name.
👍
I tried a bunch of different cars, before buying an Ruf RGT and adding NA2 power and R2 tires to keep up with the CTR-2 rabbit. Once I had that combo, it was a decent series, with some good racing action.
