well as most of you have a ps3,
i have been playing GTHD and F1 championship edition for a long time and yesterday i decided to play Gran turismo 4 but when i started to drive, i had a hard time staying on the track. how do you regain your skill on gt4 when playing other simulators.

thank you

Regain your skill? Hmm. Well you could always do some low level races in various cars, get a feel for the game again, gradually working yourself up to the higher power cars if thats what you desire.

I would go race on an empty track for awhile. Get used to the physics. Do lap after lap after lap. Each lap you do after the first lap, a ghost-car will show up. This ghost is actually YOU when you did your best lap. So the question becomes: how many times can I beat my own best lap time? Eventually you'll start to get the hang of where you'll need to be on each track as you race. Where the best braking points are, how much steering input to give, etc.

And then I would do a few "track meets". Here, you can do laps around the track with several other cars, but it's not a race....you just drive around until you manage to out-drive them.

And then I'd do some Family Cup races. Start with your difficulty in its default position (which happens to be zero in my game). If you win that race by a large margin..try a difficult of "1". Keep introducing larger difficulty rates till you feel you're getting the hang of things. Now you can go earn some real money!
