this problem has happened with both my Corvette stingray and my RX-7, both have over 500 hp. it seems like first gear wont catch. it it revs to aobut a grand and then the engine cuts out. it is at the start of a race or after a crash. i dotn know how to fix this. is it a glich or what. help me please.

Engines should not cut out in GT.
Is your contoller pluged in to the PS2 controller port properly?
Can you try another controller or change buttons for the throttle to check it is not a contoller button issue.

Could it be that your cars don't have enough power below 1000 RPM to break it?

If so, you should probably just focus on keeping the RPM above 1000.

i think it probably has a stage 4 turbo because those are mainly for high speed tracks and mostly top end

I think it was because i had a tripple plate clutch but i will check and get bake to youall

No, your problem is that you don't have any low-end power.
