Help!!

Iv'e just turned on the PS2 and started up GT4 and it tells me i have

'corrupt data'

Please say this is not true, all that i have been working on for the last 2 years has been corrupted, gone forever.

Is there any way of retrieving my game data, can anyone HELP ME!!

You guys are scaring me. I think I'm going to buy second memory card, now that I got most of the long endurances done in A-Spec and finally passed Mission 34.

Please learn from my mistake CRXnut, the feeling after loosing years of work, makes you want to throw the PS2 out the window!!

I had completed 90% of the game and had a garage full of great, expensive cars.

I would advise you to buy a second memory card now!!

the same thing happened to me yesteday, buy another memory card just for gt4 becase this is a problem that is just out of control now, this is all you see on the forums, and it is a issue that needs to be addressed.

Don't buy a second memcard : buy a Max Drive instead.
It's cheaper than a memcard and it allows you to store your game saves on your PC. I have more than 25 Mb of game saves, from all games I ever played.

Yes, I think so. I have the maxdrive EVO (the one with all of the codes all ready on it) and I use it to transfer game saves
