So a friend of mine mentioned this film to me earlier as it features one of his favourite wrestlers Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (The Scorpion King anyone?)... and digging up the trailer i'm not terribly impressed in all honesty. It all feels rather familiar to me... like a handful of films and TV series put together. Over reliance on CGI for the monsters, soundtrack (granted might not be a part of the final OST) sounds just.. out of place... also I might be wrong, but i'm sure i've seen / heard of the "legendary beauty getting out of bath in artsy nude shot" before... Didn't expect to see John Hurt amongst the cast though. Perhaps I am being way too judgemental but Clash Of The Titans did that to me...
