I cant find a vol extractor that works let alone a vol extractor for GT4. How can I extract the music from GT4? I tried the Vol extractor for GT3 which will view the files but cant extract them. Has anyone extracted the music from the game or know of one that will work? Ive searched everywhere for a long time with no results. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help.

No one's helping this poor guy. Mate, I don't understand what you said, but if I were you, pick your select favourites and get them off the internet or wherever it is they get them just like other people that own ipods and the such.

Meh, I think it would be cool if they could be extracted. Not only are most of the songs very hard to find, the remixes are not available.

Let's keep this legal, please.

Thus far, the only legal suggestion came in the very first response. I'm not even sure that the opening post covers a legal activity but, for now, I'll let it slide.

Want music? BUY IT.

I thank you, I dindn't know that utorrent was illegal.
I'm leaving GTplanet, bye to you all!

Some of these songs arent available on the sound track and its not the racing music Im after. Its one menu song composed by Isamu Ohira. Hes the guy who does the menu music for the game. But the song Im after by him did not make it to the sound track. So extracting it from the game is the only route to get it.

utorrent itself is not illegal.

Supplying a link where you can download copyrighted material is against the AUP.

Good bye.

I think if you own the CD you should be able to legally get the songs for your own use. I know I would love to have them. I could always try recording them from my TV, but sound quality would suck.

Ah well, does anyone even know if it's at least possible to extract the songs from the disk?

I plugged my Tascam CD recorder into the sound output of the ps2, plugged the visual output into the tv and recorded them straight onto CD-R. All for my own use of course...

Over here in the Netherlands that's not illegal.
As is downloading of music or software or movies or whatever is NOT illegal, distributing it however is illegal, so you may download but may not upload. Funny how these rules differ per country.
