Im at work and was going to order a Thrustmaster TX wheel for my Xbox One and PC. But I have a helleva firewall and cant get to there website.

Does the Thrustmaster TX have a jack so I can plug in my Astro headsets to get surround sound??..I have the Xbox controller adapter that I use for my controller so it should work.... what I have seen it uses Kinect for voice chat. Does it do it well?? I know on my PC it will be fine but worried about the Xbox One...

Im anxious to order the wheel and like to know for sure before I order...thanks

you should do some more research....but...

no there is no sound port on a steering wheel....not sure where you would get that from. it's not some cheapo xbox 360 wheel with chat connection.

you would still need to use your controller and the adapter for a headset and no that chat adapter for xbox one controller does not doing anything but stereo. you would still need to obviously use the optical out on the xbox to your astro processing unit for simulated dolby headphone surround sound.

it does not use kinect for voice chat unless you want it too. ie: no headset plugged into controller and you have kinect chat option set to on just like any other game.

After some looking around last night when I got home I see your right. I already use my Astros with my controler for chat/surround sound. So my set up should work. It seems you have to have BOTH the wheel and the Controller connected and plug the headset into the controler for chat/surround sound. Seems like Im going to have a pipeline of cords running around the living room to use this wheel...along with my CPX adapter plug....Im going to order the wheel tonight thanx
