Im not so sure..... I dont play GT1 much anymore.. In GT1 the car messes up more often.

I haven't played the game for ages. I always found GT2 easier than the original but talking about GT1 has made me want to play it again. There was one brilliant track in GT1 which they didn't carry over into GT2 which was a shame but I can't remember the name of the track.

Yeah, I believe I haven't played it for almost a year or more.  A lot of sites for the old game have even disappeared...I can't find a track list anywhere.  :frown:

I think it was called SS Route 11

Man, I don't even remember that track. Was it a night course?

yes it was ss r 11 and it was a night course awesome track nasty corner in the tunnel though

That corner in the tunnel nearly always caught me out.

I like the chicane. Nervous it did make. Yes. But I could go through it at nearly 150 in some cars.

I beleive there was a street track that actually had a jump on it. I used to love launching over it with a very fast car.

You guys tslking about it made me play it again, SS Route 11 was maybe my favorite track in GT1. I think this info is incorrect but isn't it being restored in GT3? I ould love to play that track in 3. 1 was good but 2 is so much better so I play 2 almost always. I miss the Castrol supra from the 1st game. It is in 2 but it only comes in green, red, and white. I liked the green, red, and black, i thought that it looked great. But it's gone oh well.

Oh, yeah, I remember that Supra. The Supra was probably my favorite car in the old game.

yup, same with me, i used to race that supra on the hi fi SS route 11 all the time.

It was my favourite to along with a fully modified 3000gt. Does everybody remember the excelent introduction vid at the start of the game ?

Oh, yes, I loved that. GT2's might be a little better, though.

how can i forget the gto twinturbos or even the trd gts they were by far the best cars in the game all mine were around the 260 mph mark jordan i think we may need a new board i would gladly post my gearings for my cars i have a lot of them written down for this game and i have to agree with drifta the black castrol supra was the best looking car in the game 😈 anybody want some gear settings let me know

So far the Black, green, and red Castrol Supra is the most popular car in GT1 and SS route 11 is the most popular track. The 3000GT LM weren't bad either. I found pictures of the Skyline special model to, form GT1, the Le Mans edition but I lost them oops.

Man, I haven't played the game in so long...how many cars were there? 198 or something?

yeah i think there was something like that but i only played with half of them some of the others just werent fast enough for me

Yea, me either. I didn't really see the point in buying 100hp front wheel drive cars. They just didn't catch my intrest. Like the civics for example. But now, in my GT2 garages I probally got around 10 of them. Mostly Type R's.

Did GT have any real duds? What was the worst car in the old game?

I don't think the Fiat 500R was in the old game...

No, it was probally a honda or acura, I know those cars were really bad in GT1. They didn't really ressemble their realife selves in GT1. Not so much in GT2 either but closer.
