I found this site on Google while looking for info on training B-Spec Bob (he's virtually useless, but uses the tyres better than me!)
I'm a big fan of ToCA and F1 and have been playing racing sims since the early eighties (Revs on the BBC Micro!). Other games I played (to excess according to the better half) include Geoff Crammonds F1GP on the Atari STe, F1GP 2 and 3 on PC, ToCA series on PC and PSX, Colin McRae series, rFactor, RS3, GT Legends, GP Legends and just for fun Micro Machines!
I've been playing Gran Turismo since I bought my first PSX and steering wheel back in '99. It was a cheapo wheel, but better than the PSX controller!
I wore that console out, so bought myself a PC and modified the wheel using a broken USB joystick.
I was recently given an old (ie.fat!) PS2 and a bunch of games. The first thing I did was fire up GT4 and set about getting the A and B licences. The disc hasn't been out of the machine since! As far as I am concerned, there is only one thing wrong with the GT games, the AI is atrocious!
I've been scouring eBay for a decent wheel and pedals (if only I could afford the G25 or G27) that is made for adult sized hands and a network adapter.
Anyway, that's me, now to go beat the stupid AI in Formula GT on A-Spec.
