Hidden cars....

Wow, Jordan, I must say this is a nice forum you got going on here, I like it. The other one wasn't bad, I was registered as johnathan but changed my name to True Drifta. Any way..... as I was saying
I'm curious as to how many hidden cars we've found thus far. I haven't heard of any new ones in a couple months. Has any body found any new hidden cars?

Thanks, and welcome back!  :)  Great to hear from you again.

I believe all the hidden cars in GT2 have been found, the only thing that hasn't been fully explored is hybrids, because they can be infinitely customized.  I hope someone can correct me on this, but I believe we've maxed out the game.

Well, there are body mods, and once in a while, someone will hack out a new code, so it isn't completely explored yet.

I thought all the hidden cars were found since i hadn't heard anything about them in a while. I know about hybrids, thanks to fiery's hybrid codes and skynyrd hybrid base code page, i took on the role of making my own hybrid races. i think i'm gonna post a new topic and show you all exactly wut i've been doing while i was gone. i've got some good cars and that's all i'll say for now.......

On what car?

only mark martin race mods on the taurus in gt2 disc version 1.0 or the bugged copy any other version and the race paint scheme is retarded in my opinion

You know something? I don't have those racing mods on my tarus. I sent my disk back to SCEA because on some of the tracks, there was holes I fell in and when I got it back, there was alot of stuff that was chaged on it that I noticed. Like the biggest difference was that, all the cars kept the advertised horsepower. EX: Toyota Supra RZ '97 on my first disk it was advertised at 276hp and then when bought, went to 325, the new disk advertises it at 325hp and when bought it stays there.
For the Tarus, I got some crappy red, white, and yellow paint scheme that says Tarus all over it. I don't like the Tarus anyway  :)

i did the same thing drifta i sent my disc back and got ver 1.2  but then to make things more interesting i found a simulation gt2 disc at a resale shop and gambled luckily it was ver 1.0 so now i have both :)

oh yeah jordan, an easy way to tell what disc you have is to go to event generator and see how normal is spelled if it says nomal then you have 1.0 if it says normal then you probably have 1.1 :)

oops forgot to specify the particular race mods i dont like are on the taurus the yellow ones that drifta described  mos tof the other cars mods are pretty cool though  just think wouldnt it be great if you could paint these cars a different color select your own????

I believe I have 2.1 or 2.2.  :conf:

I  found some cars I haven't found yet. They are just old Ruf bodies, nothing special :sleepgo: They are really funny looking, maybe not to you, but it's just something about the old Porsche/Ruf's that make me  Maybe it's just the way the front end looks, the body style set up with the round lights sticking out of the front like that. I dunno, I just can't help but laugh at them.

I see mine is normal, Just like Klandrader said. I try 1.1 codes and they don't work :( I try 1.0 codes and they don't work either :( I try 1.2 codes and guess what............... they don't work either! I have to use all three version codes at the same time :reallymad: Imagine how it feels to have to type all three versions of codes for multi-lined hybrid codes  :shakehead:

Yeah, I hate entering Gameshark codes.  I also agree with you about the old Porsches, they are kind of ugly.  :)

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE LUCK WITH THE CODES DRIFTA I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AT FIRST WHAT VERSION GS DO YOU HAVE SOMETIMES UPGRADING THAT HELPS AND ALSO MAKE A NEW GAME NAME FOR GT2  CHECK OUT

HE HAS A CODE TRANSLATOR ON HIS SITE :)

ok jordan my fault once again i ment gt2 version 1.0 the glitched disc from the first day of release gt2 version 1.1 the fixed copy and then gt2 version 1.2 the copy that was sent into sony to be fixed basically the disc has three round burn marks in the back of it in a straight line they just rewrote the game hope that clears everything up! :)

But mine had weird problems with it. It was strange, 1 for example, Red Rock Valley, the tunnel.... at the very end of the tunnel when the sun hits your car and the shadow from the tunnel is gone, my car lifts off the ground and the game freezes. 2, In Rome full circut and Seattle full circut and Midfield raceway, on all of the last turns, there was no roadway and when I would drive over it, the car would fall down, then get thrown into the air and the game would freeze. I was a bit confused, I sent my disk back and told them I wanted a new one so they gave me one. I'm pretty sure it's version 1.1. Some of my 1.1 codes work, like displacement and engine codes, but all others don't. I need all three versions. I don't get it.

Yeah, I think I've got three dots on the back.  Now I know what they're for...  :D

I recieved the game for Christmas, but it's worked fine for me ever since.  The only problem was my memory card crashing and loosing all of my data for all of my games.  :reallymad:

Yeah, now that I think of it, my cars used to delete themselves from my garage after I save. It made me mad after a while. All that money down the drain.....
