I've been running the Porsche 919 GR1 in endurance events. Using higher gears at really low rpms for fuel savings - more aggressive than just short shifting. After a 4 hour race my engine oil was already worn. Is it from over working the motor because I'm abusing the low end of the rpms?

Just the game doing its thing. Goes by miles.
Change oil or learn the mileage reset trick.

New car. Ran 88 laps (750 miles) at Le Mans. I can't see 88 laps resulting in worn oil because the game is doing its thing.

Race engine at full send for 750 miles?

919 is my favourite car, by a lot, just change the oil or again, learn the mileage reset trick.

What is the mileage reset trick?

After the race, go to settings, then car settings, see the white box say your pp stuff, back out, watch the circle spin. No added mileage

I think I got that right.
