I searched the forum a little bit but i could not find such a topic about cars with high rpms. Obviously the highest revving cars are the formula cars (although I dont have one:grumpy:), other than that the Alfa Romeo race car can rev up to 12 000 rpm and the Suzuki GSX-R up to 11 000 rpm. If you know such other cars please post.

The Opel Calibra has a 16k redline IIRC, with the Alfa 155 having a slightly smaller one.

Rotary Junkie
Sadly, the Spoon S2k would be extremely high revving but PD goofed so it only does the same RPM as the other S2Ks.
Especially funny because it had the same problem in GT3.

I believe the 905 and Mazda 787B are the two highest revving pure racing cars in the game besides the FGT.

The Tuners cars have some pretty high RPM ratings, as said.

Nope, actually, the Alfa has a 12k redline and the Calibra a little less.

And the 787B is not that revvy (a bit under 10k) in comparison to some of the Honda racers and touring cars.

I noticed Mercedes E190 Evo II DTM Race Car also has redline at 10 000 rpm.

Edit.

also the Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring car revs very high.

The special edition Trueno (2000)? It's supposed to be a replica of a car from Initial D, in which it revs to 11,000 with a NA tuned Toyota race engine, but in game it only seems to go to 10,000?

ye i thought that too i dont really like tuners but god the stream z is insame lol nice paintjob too

A stock Caterham will go to 10k in the game, I believe. It's insane...

Because it's bike engined like the Suzuki GSX-R4, the Caterham uses the Honda Fireblade engine. 👍

I seem to remember the Honda S600/800/800 race car all have very high redlines.

Try the Toyota Sprinter TRUENO Shuichi Shigeno Version (AE86)
It revs up to about 10,000 RPM

just remember a higher number in the charts doesn't neccessarily mean it's faster.

Oh I agree! I just mean that for such a tiny, light machine, it really is impressive. Such a shame then that it can't be used in actual races, as it overloads the graphics processor of the machine!

I'm hoping to see more machines like this in GT5.
