I would love to see something like this in a race, that's awesome! I'm now hoping GT5 does have a spectator mode after all, before I saw this I wasn't too bothered either way.

We are so proud to have Rofajole in LR. That guy is sick, also you guys should see Islide, that guy is a drifting machine, 007 and Daus26. Great drifters! :P

LR-SWD team has some great drifters its always fun to drift with them and there cool people too ill be buying another g25 in a week or two so we can drift again

Hehe, thanks man! I appreciate the compliment!

Nice Video guys! BTW rofajole have you done any modifications to the setup of the f430 for drifting?

And yea, my F430 is modified...lower than stock actually. Meaning the car is running on 550pp on N3 tires which means the power is on the negatives and the weight it's at like 113%, not sure.

And the suspension is also modified, however the tranny is completely stock. If you would like the setup just PM me, and I would freely share the tune with you.

In fact I could even post it here on the thread so that more people could look at it and give me their thoughts on it.

That'd be pretty sweet, I hav't been able to throw that car like you did!!!

Great video guys, This is what GT Drifting is all about, Combining your skills withsomeone to create an outstanding show!

Well here's the tune I've been keeping secret for almost a year.

Car: Ferrari F430
Tires: N3/N3
Power:-3
Weight: 108% (Or 100% depending on my mood lol)
Ride Height: +0/-30
Springs: 6/4
Damper: 6/6
Toe: STOCK
Camber: STOCK
Brake Balance: 3/6
Turning Angle 50
Tranny: STOCK

A pretty simple tune really, not exactly a big secret. Just try not to set the power too high otherwise this car will give you major wheelspin and you will be going so slow, it feels like you are on N1s. haha
Now you guys can just try it out for yourselves. Just don't forget to let me know what you think.

overspining the tires and not gaining much grip to the ground im asuming thats why he keeps the power a bit low so he can push the car forward without having to overspin and lag a bit in the corners am i correct? lol

Damn you kordy, why the heck do you have to always kill the secrets?! lol just kidding

Nah, but that's exactly why I am able to keep up with your S2K with like 630pp while mine is at a lil over 550pp. With the small amount of power I put on my F430, I just simply give it a lil Scandinavian flick, tap the e-brake and floor it throughout the entire corner. I use a really simple tactic of getting sideways. All my entire work is done with the steering.

I just remembered something else about the car that I think I should tell you guys. The brake is a great friend! I use it for pretty much anything. Flicks, while e-braking (which in a 6axis will make the car act as if the clutch is fully engaged so the engines revs drop all the way to 0), I even use it sometimes on corner exits to settle the car.
Another thing is that this car has major liftoff understeer. On a turn like the one before the Spoon in Suzuka, the car understeers a lot, so the e-brake is a must if you wanna drift it.

i think a N/A car is better at entering the entry of the corner
while a turbo car is better at coming out the corner, i think the S turn of HSR kinda explains that in the video ..or..maybe not lol just my guess :idea:but i also say this because you say your full gas all the way threw the turn i cant put my foot in the gas like that or ill over spin my tires and lose some speed

i also feel that a N/A car can make futher adjustments as it is even travels sideways thru the corner and then you said something like the car acting like a clutch or something maybe thats wha im talking about lol

What I mean is that if I press the Ebrake and press down on the right thumb stick to brake, the revs will completely drop to zero and even if I release both the ebrake and normal brake, the revs will stay at that. However, the moment I step on the gas, the revs instantly will go all the way to the max and then stabilize according to the speed I'm going at a certain gear. It's really weird and yet it is one of the most used techniques by me.
