Looking for help with the Dodge Challenger RM for this time trial. I'm stuck at 1:12.5 and need to make up some time. I've been running in practice mode as I'm unable to log on to PSN. Yesterday the leader was at 1:11.3 and given the day it could easily be down to 1:10 by now. Here is my inexpert setup:
Race Modded with super charger and LSD
Engine Limiter: 91.7
Ballast - amount: 140 position: 0
Downforce: 20/45
Transmission: Top Speed: 99 Final: 2.000 1: 3.738 2: 2.628 3: 1.930 4: 1.470 5: 1.160
LSD: 10/20/15
Suspension:
Ride height - Front: -20 Rear: -10
Springs - Front: 9.2 Rear: 7.2
Extension - Front: 4 Rear: 4
Compression - Front: 2 Rear: 3
Anti-Roll - Front: 3 Rear: 2
Camber - Front: 4.0 Rear: 2.0
Toe - Front: -0.25 Rear: -0.50
I left ballast position at zero figuring this is the best chance I have of adding the weight without disrupting anything and it works well. Should I be placing this somewhere more near the engine or the tail? The transmission setting seems good although I'm not sure if I maximizing it correctly. The LSD really shows up on turns 3 and 4. Too high of a setting and I'm sliding out. Too low and I'm getting a lot of tire spin. With the suspension I'm wondering about camber and toe. I'm thinking it's so high that I'm losing speed in the straights but it seems worth it in the corners. Toe I have no idea about and I'm just doing what feels good. Anyhow if you could make some suggestions for me try out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
