Hi all,

I'm new around here and was hoping for some advice.

I run a relatively successful Australian Automotive and Tech YouTube channel and have been trying to reach out to FANATEC for almost a month now about reviewing some of their gear.

I originally reached out via their website "Sponsorship and PR" page, but got no response other than the confirmation email.

Tried Facebook and was told to contact them via the website (which I had already done 2 weeks prior). When I asked if there was a specific person I could be put in touch with, no response.

Tried calling them in Germany and was put through to their PR department but it goes straight to voicemail (attempted 6 times over 3 days). Left 4 messages but no response.

Tried emailing their sales department, was informed they had forwarded the information to the PR department but no response.

Does anyone here have a direct contact at FANATEC they could share, or have any personal experience going through this process and could offer some insight?

Much appreciated :)

LOL. Not exactly.....

I sent them a proposal for some potential ways we could work together and help each other out. The worst thing you can possibly do is ask for free stuff. Unfortunately there's far too many entitled d-heads out there with youtube accounts.

If they aren't interested that's totally fine. Would just be nice to know.

The guys at Next level were more than happy to assist and replied within 24 hours.

Hi Will, I'm sorry that you didn't get a response from the PR department. The team is extremely busy with major projects (for example the F1 partnership), and it means that there is limited time to assess the large number of review unit requests we receive every week. We appreciate your interest, and I hope you enjoy the products you just purchased. I would be grateful if you could link me to your YouTube channel (you can send it to me via PM if you wish).

Thanks for the reply Dom. It doesn't surprise me at all that you receive a lot of requests (pretty much every kid on the planet with a Youtube channel I'd imagine).

I'll shoot you a PM shortly with my channel details. Don't want to be accused of self promotion here as I'm new to the forum.

Talk soon.
