I do a fair bit of drifting in GT5 and with most of the cars that i use i can't use full throttle to drift cause i just hit the rev limiter and the car just straightens out. i was wondering what do i do to sort this problem out or would i have better luck asking in the drifting forum?

Just watch your rpm's as you go along. The easiest thing I've noticed is like real drifting, a lot of throttle control is required, not keeping it mashed against the limiter. My preffered method is to throttle on & throttle off for changes in direction and to maintain a constant slip angle. Keep the rpm's at a fairly high level (around 5000-6000rpm). Hope this helps. 👍

i use a wheel and if you let go of the throttle with opposite lock the car just snaps back i have to have my foot on the throttle constantly and with the throttle being so light it's hard to keep it in that range. could i do anything with the differential or the gear ratios to sort it out?

The way I do it is to tune it like a normal car at a neutral anti-roll bar setting (3-5), then afterwards, increase the anti-roll bar on the rear. This will cause the tires to break loose and not grip as much but the front of your car will be tuned and the overall weight transfer still on balance. You can push and steer the car around corners better with some throttle control. This method has worked better for me than trying to start a tune with drifting specifically in mind, your results may vary.
