* How did you find GTPlanet?
I found this site looking for tuning information for GT5 Prolouge, and news about GT5.
* Where are you from?
I am from Santa Rosa California. Sonoma County, about 30 mins away from Infineon Raceway!!! Fun Fun.
* When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
I've been playing Gran Turismo since the very first release. I just recently bought a wheel, a DFGT, and that has really increased the fun factor so I have been playing GT5 prologue a lot. This week I purchased a Wheel stand pro and I am loving it. Beats bringing a kitchen table into the living room and getting hated on by the GF.
* Do you play with a steering wheel?
Yes.
* What other games do you enjoy?
The only racing game i mess with is Gran Turismo. Mainly I like RPG's. I played Final fantasy 11 for about 4 years, that's a MMO. I was in an End Game linkshell The Fallen Angels/Forgotten Shadows and accomplished pretty much everything I wanted there and got bored of it and also got tired of the large commitment that is required to do end game stuff. Made some great friends there. I am eagerly awaiting FF14. I play Call of duty and w/e fun stuff comes out. Aubendoza is my name on PSN. Feel free to add me to your FL.
* What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
Mainly I am looking for tuning information. I don't quiet understand how it all works and its pretty necessary to have a good setup if you are going to compete online. I want to learn about tuning so I can tune my own cars w/o having to copy other peoples setups. I want to learn racing tactics to help me win races and maybe eventually be able to contribute some insights of my own to help others. And last but not least keep up to date on GT5 news as the game draws nearer to release.
Oh ya, I just turned 30, and I'm a Civil engineering Technician. I make maps and things.
I drive a 02 Subaru WRX.
