I recently bought the HKS Racing Controller. I have been using it and have found that if steering wheel on the controller has enough axis but not enough sensitivity to kick in and kick out of drift before hitting the wall, any tips. I have found however that if you time it right, it can produce a quality drift, and I have also found that with this controller, linking drifts is easier. Does anyone who uses this controller have any tips or tricks for drifting with this controller.
If you are unfamiliar with this controller, I strongly suggest that you look into it, especially if you are an avid drifter with not enough space for a full wheel and decent stand anchor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2SMqECVsNE

I use this controller very often. It does initiate slow but very smoothly. I use a -2 sensitivity and depending on your car and suspension setting it can be smooth on the exit. Its very good and can keep large angles. I do have to say that the throttle responce and throttle sensitivity is weeek and needs a way to calibrate the pressure sensitivity, there is too big of a deadspot. The HKS controller does help you get rid of the flappy tire syndrome. LOL. Try to use the clutch/handbrake just enough that your rpms jump to quickly kick out your car. Countersteering must be done delicately or you will end up whiping back into the wall. I have a g27 also but have fun with the HKS too.

Thanks, I find that I cannot drift on anything less than a +5 setting and that actually might help with some of the looseness in the steering wheel and I completely agree that the pedals need to be better calibrated for a full range of throttle levels, it's really not precise for trre racing in my eyes.

Look me up bro anytime your online and drifting or if you need a perdon to help with comparing tunes. Oh I forgot to mention that your transmission makes a large difference in handling. If your car is loose try to lengthening you gears a little, individually or by the top speed setting. Higher top speed makes car tight. And lower top speed to loosen your car. See you online sometime. MLD_PUSH.
