Hmmm....what should i get....??

I've saved up a little money and I want to spend some of it on my car....

what should i get?

1) carbon-fiber GT spoiler
2) PIAA fog lights
3) silver paint job
4) new rims (19.5" cuz thatz the max for my TL)
5) smoked head lights
6) something else.......

Fog lights or rims. Send some pictures our way after you make your decision and get it all put together.

Why don't you get something to make your car faster, instead of cosmetic stuff. If you make your car faster, and beat people with it, it makes your car look like it's slow, but then you hit the gas, and people will respect you.

There's a speed limit, but no acceleration limit.

And when there's cops around, we slow down. Of all the accidents my family has has, none were caused by us.

If you talk to actual street racers, they keep well within the limits and rules when they are on the road racing... I have heard too many stories about people being pulled, then after the cop can't charge them with anything movement, they give them a "fixit" ticket....

What 19.5"s are you going with? Or you don't really care the style?

Are you talking caliper/Rotor upgrade, or just a caliper?

Also remember that a wheel upgrade requires a tire upgrade. Those 19+ tires get Mad expensive....

Nah... It was long enough though... As far as smoking 'em goes, I've only lit 'em up hard enough to get 'em to smoke once, and that was in the school parking lot(almost lost all parking privelages for 2 years cause of that lil' incident )...:burnout:

I have a radar detector too, and I've had it with me AND on everytime I've been pulled over... I got so used to the thing going off everytime I'd pass a grocery store(because of the automatic-opening doors) or Ultimate Electronics, that I quit paying attention to it when it would go off. Next time the detector goes crazy, I'm going to pay more attention...

You must have saved up more than a "little money" if you're considering buying 19.5"'s...


Anyways, you probably don't wanna hear this, but that carbon fiber wing looks ugly(that's just my opinion). If you get a spoiler, have it look natural(like something that would come stock)When I looked at pics of your car a few months back, I thought it looked awesome.



If you have enough $$$ for a set of 19.5 inch wheels/tires, then you obviously have enough to turbocharge or supercharge it instead of wheels, right? Here's what I'd do, forget looks, think performance. Slap a huge turbo, FMIC, boost controller, BOV, etc...on that TL and make it haul @$$!!!

Hmm. If it were me, I'd stick the PIAA lamps on. I had some on my Impreza, and they were the canine's cohones!

Otherwise, I'd go for brakes, I think. I don't really care what a car looks like, just how it goes. Think about your safety: if you can see further and stop quicker, you'll get more out of the car you have, rather than if you shove a damn-great-big drag-producer on the bootlid.

That poses some problems however.... One being insurance....

yes Forced induction is definately the way to go, but unfortunately, the TL doesn't support a turbo....yet. Last time i checked.....comptech is the only company that can do a supercharger....i think.....

and about the 19.5" rims.......they cost quite a lot and i don't think i will ever get 'em but is just a possibility........
