It is widely agreed by many car enthusiasts that the '01 Civic Type R is the greatest example of all the Type Rs Honda has ever built, yet, I cannot find any tunes for it at my go to tune site "http://www.gt5-tuning.com/index.php?title=Category:Models"

Could some one please point me in the right direction, or if you're experienced enough, use the pre-existing tunes of other Civics at the site above to make an '01 Civic tune please?

Time for you to learn the virtues of Adrenaline's tuning site. It takes all rival tune storing sites and simply blows them away! Go to GT5tune now! :dopey:

And to answer the OP, here's two great ones.

Don't worry about the year, the tunes should work for them all.

Firstly, thanks for the link, I'll check it out shortly.

But also, the '08 has a completely different chassis (in reality), so its surprising that the year doesn't matter...

Good. :D

No, those are tunes for the EP Civic, not the FD Civic. See the joys of having a more up to date tune storing website is that you know what cars have tunes and what doesn't.

Again, I've saved the link as one of my permenant bookmarks, but all the tunes that were there for the Civic were using 'Sports Soft' tires, which irritated me, since I use 'Racing Soft' tires on all my cars.

It doesn't really matter, a tune for a lower grade compound should work just as well, if not even better on racing tyres.

^^ Wut he said ^^

If a car runs well on SS tyres, it'll be epic on RS tyres, with perhaps a touch of oversteer, but frankly the god-like abilities of RS tyres will undoubtedly nullify that.

Now, if you were talking the other way round, you wanted to run on SH tyres, I might understand your irritation. Why don't you try running the car on SS tyres, you might actually enjoy it...

If an FF built for SS tyres oversteers too much on RS tyres, double the rear spring rate.
