...Didn't know such a car existed in GT6. It's.....actually not that bad looking. Dunno if I want this turned premium tho'. I'd rather see it dropped for something else....like Mugen Civic Type RR. :P

It did since GT4 and GT5.

I just wish an experienced tuner would post a tune for it. I can't find one anywhere. :boggled: After all, people have posted tunes for cars like the Life van... why not the Element, too? :(

It handles like a brick. That is why there are no tunes for it. It plows ahead randomly and is very hard to turn and unstable when doing so. Also, the Lupo GTi is lightyears ahead of anything else in the 330-350PP area and the next couple fastest cars are premium, which I assume would leave no room for cars like this one. Although... what it needs is to be lighter on its feet and more stable during cornering. Then it might beat, say a Mini Cooper (the next best standard under 350PP). I will investigate.

Circuit. Just regular A-Spec racing, like the Intermediate Seasonal at Apricot going on right now. 450 PP would be ideal.

It isn't terribly competitive at 450PP tbh, but I just did a quick 425PP build on it and got a 7:40.464 on the Nurburgring on my first attempt, so its a perfectly decent track car and handles just fine. The only down side is its top speed, which is in the 140 mph region, but here's the tune :

RS Tyres (personal preference)
Oil change

Race brakes : 6-4 bias

Race suspension :
Height : 95-95
Springs : 5.00-4.00
Dampers (C) : 4-4
Dampers (E) : 4-4
Anti roll : 4-4
Camber : 0-0
Toe : 0-0

Race gearbox :
Auto setting - 149 mph
1st : 3.500
2nd : 2.350
3rd : 1.700
4th : 1.300
5th : 1.040
Final : 4.300

Diff :
Torque : 30-30
Accel : 60-60
Decel : 5-5

Centre diff :
20:80 split

Power upgrades :
Stage 3 engine
Sports comp.
Race exhaust
Race manifold
Race cat
99.1% limiter

Full weight loss package +
200 kg ballast all the way to the back.

425 PP
301 bhp
1,448 kgs
51:49 weight balance

Hope this is useful for you.

Thank you! Yes, it was!
I switched out the tires to SS and won the 500PP 4wd Intermediate seasonal at Apricot Raceway going on now. It was a piece of cake.

So then I removed the 200 kgs to improve acceleration from the corners, added the Intake Tuning to get up to 448 PP and tried again. I gained almost ten seconds.

Cool beans. Yeah removing the ballast is definitely faster. When I said that it wasn't as competitive at 450, I really meant against real drivers rather than AI.

Agreed! It is what it is, nothing more.
It's role in the game is sort of like the Schwimmwagon; kinda there to have fun with just kickin' around, or for use in special low PP competions, or for comparisons. I've even used it to gold a seasonal rally event or two over the years. But I never had a decent suspension, tranny, or drivetrain tune... so, thanks again!

Very nice tune. I did alter it a little for my preferences but not that much.
