I was doing the recently added Seasonal Event which is a race with B-Spec drivers. After losing with Nissan cars, I tried Honda NSX. Car was just for the job, but i came across two versions of the car Year 06 and 08. And since I were in need of money, I did some testing along between those two versions.

P.S. Same driver for both races and driver was in excellent condition both races.

I changed oil, put a Mid RPM turbo, max aerodynamics and then limited engine power till I came to 600PP. And so results :

Honda Raybrig NSX '06 ====================== Honda Epson NSX '08
1100kg ================================= 1150kg
------------------------------POWER---------------------------------
487BHP ================================= 507BHP
6400rpm ================================ 7100rpm
---------------------------TORQUE----------------------------------
66kgfm/5300rpm ========================== 63kgfm/5500rpm

And this made me wonder which one is the best, it's clear that '08 is more powerful, but it weighs 50KG more. I was pretty sure that NSX '08 will be better, but no. Very similar results, but NSX '06 slightly faster overall and has by 0.217seconds faster best lap.

Honda Raybrig NSX '06 ====================== Honda Epson NSX '08
Best lap - 2:29:410 ======================== Best lap - 2:29:627
Full time - 26:23:259 ======================= Full time - 26:26:527

I know you might think that it was dumb A.I. driving and opponents are not the same every time, and that B-Spec driver makes mistakes, but there were really little mistakes made by my driver and in 1st lap NSX '08 got to a higher spot than '06 did. And very weird note that in the same lap and same place both cars got to 1st spot. Lap 5/10 end of sector 2.

And winner is Honda NSX '06. When maxed out it gives more power than NSX '08, but this was a comparison with 600 Performance Point restriction. But IMO Honda NSX '08 performed better, it just probably didn't get a chance to draft

The correct answer is the Honda ARTA NSX '06.

489 HP = 1100 kg. Slightly more power than the raybrig at the same weight. I used it for the seasonals, through on a quick tune and won easy. Don't pit. As for times and how high of a spot you get early on is all fluke. I got to second place with my Veyron in the Sarthe seasonal faster than when I was racing my purple race car Jag.

I believe the Stealth NSX is based on the 06 but with more power. I have yet to try it on the seasonal. I gotta spend some of this 20 mil first lol

I won that race easily with both NSX's, i usually get lead 5th lap and never lose it after.

Interesting, I was testing something very similar a couple of days ago. I tested the 03 NSX, 06 NSX, 08 GTR, 01 Supra and the Z all at 625PP.

The 03 NSX was by far the quickest. It eats the others in a straight line and does not lose much in the corners. Its strange because it is over weight and down on power vs most of them.

It's not always a matter of power and weight, but how it all works together, it must be better optimized than other versions. Or perhaps a bug, since it's a game, not real life and it's not a Premium model. Which means less attention to it's performance and looks.

Stealth is based on the '08. Pretty sure it isn't allowed in the seasonal, either.

Many same class racing cars aren't allowed, from the list i saw only premium models and few standard, one I don't have and i would like to have is lambo diablo (nomad), ain't seen that car on used car dealership yet. Maybe i have when i was lower level, how i would like to have it. :dopey:

The NSX Takata Dome 03 is my favourite Its revs are very much higher than the rest

Ok all thats it im gonna stick evey NSX out there through High Speed Ring , and Grand Valley Speed Way and Spa sticking a limiter on the PP at 600 Ive been inspired
