Ok, I know that I'm going to get chewed out for this, but I think that this game by far didn't live up to its expectations. Don't get me wrong, this is a GREAT game, but I thought it would be better. It was so easy to beat, the missions weren't that great, and it just wasn't expected. So go ahead, I'm ready for the critism.

True, there's only 20 plot missions. But the endless hours spent going dodo hunting in the Apache, or gunning down 1000's of innocent people is priceless.:D

Ditto. i restarted the game twice after i did all the missions. i'm trying to do all the jumps, rampages, and packages before i finish it this time. but for some reason, some jumps aren't were they should be.

Well doing all the side missions takes more time than the plot missions.

I liked GTA VC, but yeah, it was too short. The main things going for it are:
the size of the maps
the side missions
the fun you can have outside of any mission.

Same here. I can't find at least four of the unique jumps or the last few rampages either.

Im not saying that any of you have cheated or anything

But i have heard that if you use cheat codes even minor ones it can cause packages jumps etc to not appear

And they are gone for good unless a restart is done

The game it self is awsome im having a blast sniping dudes in their cars ,shooting them in the butt is quite funny too

To be honest it was more than i was expecting but then again i did not follow up on all the hype before the game was released.

But i do agree that the story mode missions are pretty easy ..
I've completed the game twice now

But the second time around i went for all the side missions first ,jumps etc on the first island then played up to the mission that gives you access to the second island and continued my search for packages.etc

By the time i started the sir yes sir mission i had the hunter and i kicked arse

I started a second game for it. I'm trying to do all of the 'hidden' missions first, like the playgrounds, firefighters, ambulance, taxi, vigilante(kinda hard when the best gun you can get is the crappy shotgun...:( Guess drive-bys and FBI-Washingtons are the only way I can get it now...

So once I get all of that and the hidden packages/jumps on the first half, I'll start the plot missions. I just don't want to have to put up with the gangs when I do those- especially the ambulance missions.......

Four words: Semi Automatic Rocket Launcher :D :D :D

Now THAT is fun! Just get yourself a Hunter, land on a low roof, and go ped hunting

Eats up a lot of ammo really quick though...

actually i found all the packages, did all the rampages, but i have two jumps left. the guy who made the map that showed these things really screwed up on it.

I agree. For me, GTA3 was much bigger at launch. It's like the Chevy Cavalier. The first one came out, then there were minor tweaks to the body, then there was a full re-design which changed everything and made it a lot more popular. Then, more tweaks to the body design. Maybe another full redesign (back on GTA topic, here) is on the way.

I like this one, but i don't think it exceeds GTA III as a better game. It is quite fun though, and i love just going on a rampage across the massive town. :)

 Nice simile! I also agree. VC's an evolution of the series, not the jaw-dropping revolution that GTA3 was. It does the same stuff, it's bigger and (mostly) better, but it certainly didn't kick me in the nuts like GTA3 did when I first played it.
