Red Flag (Hongqui) is the Rolls Royce of China and like Rolls Royce they have managed to find the perfect balance between something looking old yet modern and it's a perfect homage to the famous 1963 CA770 model.

Based on the HQE built for the premier of China which was the worth $1.2 million USD the L5 is more of a production ready model costing $800,000 USD. A fleet of them was last seen bringing delegates to the Apec summit.

The interior looks quite unique and has a Chinese cultural flare to it with clouds cut into the wood and jade door handles. The exterior looks suitably blocky and imposing. It's powered by a 6.2 Litre V12.

There needs to start being Chinese cars in all racing games, not just GT. There are enough usual models which stand out and GT should embrace something like this which is probably China's best made car at the moment.

...How can I not vote a V12 Chinese faux-limo. I'm pretty sure this is appalling to drive, just as much as to look at, but who cares!!

A 3000kg limo with 400bhp and 406lb ft from that V12. Not going to be a performer in a future GT is it? There are several Chinese cars I would want before this.

It does look good in a Sin City kind of way though.

I love the fact that it was taken seriously by enough people to actually be used as an ambassadorial vehicle.

Oh yeah, it's basically the state car of China. A fleet of them were used at the APEC summit.

They even bring them abroad when the president goes on state visits...

It's a pretty cool looking car for sure. Would love to see it go up against the equivalent Rolls Royce, Bentley & Merc in a road test or something.
