After trying since launch to get online working without error i'm sorry i bothered ...

2 races.... basically a crashing / ram fest ... was completely pointless and non-fun

Can't wait till we can form racing groups and race among people who give a crap about racing not cheating

Need a SNAIL type setup. That was great fun in GT 6. Love F7 but wishing of a SNAIL group here.

I still miss FM2 online play. I liked the user created lobbies way better than these stupid hoppers they replaced them with. There was something online for almost everyone in FM2. Several of us would generally run rooms where collisions were off quite often, that way the would be crashers just go right through and off the track, usually never seen again We got a lot of serious racers in those rooms and a lot of really fast ones too. Sometimes we would go through a bunch of tracks and some times we would just stay on the same track for hours, tweaking tunes and trying to get better. People in the lobbies were generally friendly and many ended up racing with us often. Then come the hoppers, short races almost never on the tracks I want to run either people are dead quiet or someone is making loud noises, a dog, a baby, loud music or whatever.

One of my favorite things about the online in Forza was the friendly atmosphere and meeting new people who enjoyed racing the same types of cars and tracks as I do while maybe being able to chat a bit and enjoy each others company in the process. The hoppers have pretty much killed all of that.
