I am expecting those comments, but I still have fondness for Tomicas. It is true that the old ones are the best, but for the company to have licenses from various foreign car manufacturers is amazing. I'll get the SRT Viper and the Spyker C8 Laviolette SWB soon.

Plus, Tomica makes the JDMs that other toy makers don't have.

As you are probably aware, I'm very fond of the Tomica Limited(especially Vintage Neos), but standard Tomica is a huge hit & miss for me. Mostly miss. I have like three modern, standard Tomica that I own & actually really like.

I of course totally respect your opinion, preference, and so glad that you share your new cars with the rest of us. I like pictures, and Tomicas certainly are awesome change of pace! 👍

Fiat 500 purchased. Cost me $5 shipped but probably would have spent that in fuel looking for the damn thing.

Yeah, I first bought it in silver, but I wasn't all that impressed & was gonna return it. Ben wanted me to just send it to him, so I did.... then I came across detailed pics of it online, then the actual car dirt cheap on TTP for three bucks, which is like 60% off the MSRP(sorry Ben ).

Not a fan of newer GM cars, but Corvettes are cool. 👍

Don't worry about it. I should be taking some pics of my new cars tomorrow.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji here. Chances are, they're not allowed...


Kanji makes me cry, and I know only 5% of them.


Another sad thing is that the Exige R-GT will never have a Tomica Limited version, not even the Evora GTE. It's a pity that those are actually good in standard guise, but deserve to have more detailed versions.

AMC is my favorite in there, too. That's the only car in the purchase I paid the full price for. 👍

I'm the same way. I can read them fine, but to write them is a big challenge for me. Every time I have to write a frigging letter(my dad refuses to use email!!! ), I have my kanji dictionary at my side.

They need to break into the U.S. Market, me thinks. That'll give them enough incentives to start up something like the "limited" series again.

@Gotbeefboy564, I'm not one to tell people what to do with their money, but you can totally aim for something bigger than a single hot wheels on eBay as a birthday gift. I mean, come on, "can I get a maserati hot wheels off eBay for my birthday?" sounds pretty weak, dude. Get like a collector item or something that's valuable and hard to find. That's a much more memorable gift imo. Or get yourself a tote or a carrying case to store the cars with; something a little more purposeful.

I agree, if I am given a chance to get something I want on EBay and such, I often try to get something I would never hope to find otherwise.

You may be able to find the Auto World Mustang in stores. I saw the blue one not that long ago. Maybe at Walmart, maybe Toys R Us, I forget......

I saw some Auto World cars at a Walmart in the U.S., but of all cars the Mustang was missing.

After watching Racegrooves video’s of the trash wheels I decided to try my luck on the trash wheels my local supermarket had. I got a Stinkin Sneaker and Fanging Maggot. Head over to the scale model thread and Lego thread to see my latest scale model and Lego set.
